Remote Interpreting

Remote simultaneous interpreting (RSI) brings the booth to the screen. I interpret from a professional hub in Berlin or from my own ISO-compliant studio, while your event takes place anywhere in the world. Same quality, no travel costs, zero setup on your end.

Platforms I work on

Zoom with its built-in interpreting channel, Interprefy, KUDO, Webex, Microsoft Teams (with KUDO or Interprefy integration), Hopin, and various proprietary client platforms. If your platform supports an interpreting channel, I can work with it. If it doesn't, I'll help you find one that does.

When remote interpreting makes sense

International webinars, hybrid conferences, board meetings with remote participants, AGMs with online voting, press briefings, training sessions. Whenever your audience is distributed or travel budgets are tight. RSI also works as a backup plan: if a speaker cancels their trip, the interpreting still happens.

My studio setup

Redundant internet (fibre + 5G failover), professional USB microphone with pop filter, acoustic treatment to ISO 2603 equivalent standards, dual monitors for slides and speaker view, and a hardware audio interface for clean signal. I test the full chain before every assignment.

Hub interpreting

For assignments requiring maximum reliability, I work from professional interpreting hubs in Berlin. These are equipped with broadcast-grade hardware, on-site tech support, and backup infrastructure. I can recommend trusted hub partners or work from whichever facility your client prefers.

Languages and team

German and English in both directions. For multilingual events I coordinate remote teams across time zones through my VKD/BDÜ network. One point of contact, full coverage.
